Guyana, South America

What do we do?

Go Teach The Word takes or sends the Gospel to congregations and Bible schools across Guyana, especially to villages mostly in the remote interior. Due to situations, such as lack of internet or computers or printers, printed Bible material is still the best teaching tool. Go Teach The Word supplements or works with or through other mission groups, U.S. congregations, medical missions, or individuals that also work in Guyana.

Guyana is at the top of South America, in between Venezuela and Suriname and above Brazil.

Mission Statement

•To take the Gospel to lost souls in the interior Amerindian villages of Guyana by whatever means that is practical (travel in person, internet, mail, shipments).

•To provide sound-doctrine teaching tools for edification (printed Bible study material, sermon and class outlines, DVDs, flash drives, tablets, audio players).

•To match needs in Guyana with willing donors in the U.S. (Bibles, class material, songbooks, glasses, benevolence, church building construction materials).

•To sow the seed, teach, baptize, instruct. Revisit a few times each year to edify the Christians and evangelize the lost souls mostly among the indigenous Amerindian people.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John 1:1
